The Gift Cottage believes in 100% customer satisfaction! Hence, one of our major goals is to create a risk-free environment for our customers to purchase our goods. Every item in the catalogue is guaranteed in good condition. That is why we have implemented several favourable return policies for you to exercise should the need ever arises. Please take a look at our return policies highlighted here to understand your rights as our valued customer.

Refund Policy

Should dissatisfaction arise, please email or fax your complaint immediately upon receiving the goods and your problem will be addressed immediately. Simply return the item(s) in good resale condition within 30 days from the date you received your products and we will issue you an immediate refund of the cost of your returned product(s) minus shipping and 20% of the total purchase price as administrative charges. For purchases using credit cards, any refunds will be processed through the respective credit card companies, which may take a few months to clear subject to the respective banks regulations.

Exchange Policy 

The Gift Cottage ensures that all products are in perfect condition before your goods are shipped out. If you require an exchange of products for any reason e.g. incorrect sizing selections, simply send your items back to us for an exchange. The customer will only be responsible for re-shipment charges as well as to ensure that the returned items are in good condition for resale.  All items returned must be "as new" and not used or damaged in any way. Please include your order no. in your package to allow us to track your purchase as well as any special instructions.

Return of Damaged Items

However in the unfortunate event where the merchandise you have received is damaged, do not immediately send the package back, yet. Take a picture (preferably a digital picture) of the items in their boxes or packages. We need to settle such issues with our logistic partner first to determine if the items are damaged due to poor packing. Kindly note that our return policy will not apply to items which has been damaged either accidentally or otherwise by the receiver/buyer. Once we have ascertained that the damage is due to poor packing, then we will issue you a acceptance note to return the item(s) within 30 days using the original packing. Ship via insured post together with a photocopy of the cash receipt or invoice and retain the original copy.
